Here it is week 3 in the competition and I really hit a creative road block this week. I thought I would never get this kit finished. For this week first we were given 2 different color palettes to pick from. Then we also had to include:
5 patterned papers and 5 solids. The patterns should include 1 stripe and 1 dotted pattern.
1 full alpha including numbers and at least 4 punctuation characters.
1 doodled element
1 extracted element (Have I mentioned I still don't like extractions much)
1 word bit
1 word art
1 journaling block or tag
Something metal
10 elements total including all those listed above.
The color palettes that Amanda picked out were rockin. I just couldn't get anything going. In the end I am happy with what I came up with and I hope you all like it too. I *think* I met all the requirements. I was so frazzled in the end I am not sure lol. So here it is, my kit for this week u+me=love :
Kit Includes:
12 Papers (6 Patterned & 6 Solid)
Full Glitter Filled Acrylic Alpha (Upper & lower case, numbers & some punctuation)
1 Frame (extracted by me)
1 Set of Ladies Undergarments
1 Pair of Men's Boxers
1 Paper Heart with Metal Arrow
3 Acrylic Tags
5 Word Bits
1 Love Word Art
1 Journaling Block (2 versions included)
1 Staple

On a personal note my little guy is having reconstructive surgery to fix a small birth defect Monday morning. The surgeon said it's a pretty common surgery, he preforms one to two a day. So I am not too worried about the surgery itself. It's the two week hospital stay that follows that I am not looking forward too. I don't know how they expect it to happen but, my two year old has to sit still in a hospital bed the entire two weeks. If he doesn't and he moves too much he could rip his stitches and then they will have to start all over again. The little guy doesn't sit still for two minutes and they want him to lay there for two weeks?!?!? It should be interesting to say the least.
Finally just an FYI the links for Maddie's Garden will be taken down next Friday night/Saturday morning after I get home from the Hospital. Since only one parent is allowed to stay at a time I have the weekdays & my hubby is taking the weekends with the little guy.
love the alpha! thanks for sharing. :)

I downloaded this kit EONS ago - then my EHD crashed and I lost it :( - and I remember this one (and your other 2) but could never remember who made it - so I stumbled across your site today and was happy to see I found you again :) LOL! Not that I had much to say - but just wanted to say HI! and love your stuff!!
